Continuing Education for Teachers

Literature plays a key role in children’s intellectual, cultural, emotional and social development. Educators build the foundations for such developments and inspire their listeners to feel empowered and achieve their best.

I create bespoke professional training, for staff that want to explore more methods and styles within storytelling to help support their work. I share my storytelling frameworks, skills and techniques to help inspire and capture a child’s imagination in any environment.

Reviews

“The feedback was overwhelmingly positive about the whole session but particularly Genevieve’s presenting style – a smash hit!”

“Thank you for your enthusiasm and presenting, so inspiring and fun”

— Royal Observatory Greenwich – The Presenters Network (2018) Debbie Forrester – STEM

“As someone who has never delivered story or rhyme time, EVERYTHING was useful and there have been a lot of eye-opening moments for me so far. Genevieve was an absolute professional with such an easy, friendly manner - she made you feel as comfortable and included as the kids she told stories to, which is brilliant as I think the main hurdle for me (and a lot of us) is having the confidence to 'perform' in front of anyone.”

— Redbridge Library (2019)

“I love the tools we learnt - very practical - using song, repetition, clapping games and objects to enhance a story. I have a kids book at home that I love and can already see how this can be adapted and expanded to be more engaging. Ultimately, I can't praise Genevieve highly enough for truly creating magic in all she does.”
